243 INFANTRY BRIGADE TROOPS CONDUCT DRINKING WATER WELL CLEANING PROGRAMME IN SETHUKUDAH AREA

With the direction of Commander 243 Infantry Brigade Brigadier KMUP Kalupahana USP psc a well-cleaning programme was conducted on 15 December 2025 with the participation of 01 x 10 troops from 243 Infantry Brigade. During the programme troops cleaned 02 x public wells located at the Sethukudah area had been extensively used by the local community during the recent adverse weather conditions and the cleaning effort was carried out to ensure the continued availability of safe drinking water for affected residents.
