241 INFANTRY BRIGADE AND 18 VIJAYABAHU INFANTRY REGIMENT CONDUCT DONATION PROGRAM FOR PREGNANT MOTHERS AND LOW-INCOME FAMILIES

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General PR Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, troops of the 241 Infantry Brigade and the 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, with the sponsorship of Hemas (Pvt) Ltd, organized a donation program on 16th March 2025 in Nawagampura, Ampara.

The initiative provided special needs items to 15 pregnant mothers and distributed coconut plants to low-income families in the area.

The event was attended by the Deputy General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, the Commander of the 241 Infantry Brigade, the Commanding Officer, senior officers, other ranks, and representatives from the sponsoring organization.
