Major General G S K Perera RSP ndc assumed duties as the first Deputy General Officer Commanding (Dy GOC) of the 23 Infantry Division during a simple ceremony held at the Division Headquarters on 29 December 2025.
The newly appointed Dy GOC signed the official assumption-of-duties document, symbolizing his acceptance of the appointment, amidst religious observances. Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Division were present at the occasion.
