221 INFANTRY BRIGADE CONDUCTS COORDINATED SECURITY CONFERENCE

The 221 Infantry Brigade Headquarters in Kuchcheveli convened a coordinated security conference on 11 September 2025, with the participation of representatives from the Sri Lanka Navy, Sri Lanka Police, Special Task Force (STF), and Civil Security Department (CSD). The conference was held under the patronage of Brigadier E W R S B Ehelepola USP USACGSC, Commander, 221 Infantry Brigade.

The forum provided an opportunity to review the prevailing security situation within the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility (AOR), exchange vital information and intelligence, and identify areas requiring enhanced vigilance. The discussions emphasized the importance of unified action to address evolving security challenges.

The meeting further strengthened sister services and inter-agency cooperation, creating a platform for sustained collaboration between military, law enforcement, and other stakeholders in maintaining peace and stability in the Brigade AOR.
