The inspection visit on 8th January 2024 at the Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Army Service Corps by the Commander Logistics Command Maj Gen M W T C Mettananda USP ndc meticulously assessed various aspects of operations, logistics and administration. This included scrutinizing the maintenance of equipment, inventory management, personnel training and overall infrastructure upkeep, ensuring that the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps remains prepared to fulfill its logistics duties effectively.

The headquarters Logistics Command at Salawa, Kosgama celebrated its 44th Anniversary on 01 January 2024 at the Headquarters premises.
Prior to the anniversary day, a Shramadana programme at Divisional Hospital - Kosgama, an alms-giving and a donation of gifts were organized at ‘Sanda Sevana Elder’s Home’ at Kosgama on 29 December 2023.
On 04 January 2024, a ceremonial Guard Turnout was presented to the Commander, Army Logistics Command Major General W M T C Meththananda USP ndc before he was honored in a Guard of Honor parade. The Commander Logistics Command afterwards joining an all rank tea and addressed the troops at all rank lunch in the same afternoon.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.

Headquarters Army Logistics Command recently launched The Trade Test Management System and Website with the guidance and participation of the Commander of the Sri Lanka Army on 05th Sep 2023, in multifunction Hall at AHQ. To minize constraints and maximize the effectiveness of the Army Trade Test Management System and Website with the intention of practice how to handle the software, HQ Army Log Comd conducted an awareness workshop for Subject Officers and Clerks of All Regiments with the participation of Dte of IT under the Supervision of Commander Army Logistics command at Conference Hall HQ Army Log Command on 12th and 13th of September 2023.
