  • SLLI New Colonel of the Regiment Assumes Duties

    Major General S.R.K Hettiarachchi RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, took over duties as the 16th Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI) on Sunday (16) during a simple ceremony amidst religious blessings. He is also the Commander, Security Forces - Jaffna.

  • COS Meets SLLI HQ Battalion Troops in Boossa

  • 70TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF SRI LANKA LIGHT INFANTRY ASSOSIATION

    The Sri Lanka Light Infantry Association is currently the oldest military association of the Sri Lanka Army which was Founded on 17 December 1945 under the leadership of Sir General John Kothalawala. It was held with the participation of a large number of members.

The Regimental mascot of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry Regiment (SLLI) has offered its enormous and distinguished service by attending number of ceremonial parades and events which organized by the regiment and Sri Lanka Army. Thereby, since its inception it created a representational iconic of proud and prestige as a nation.
