The Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka light Infantry regiment Seva Vanitha Branch and a series of programs in conjunction with the Women's Day

Under the guidance of the Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna) and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Light Infantry (SLLI), Major General YABM Yahampath RWP RSP ndu psc, The Annual General Meeting and events in conjunction with the world women’s day of Seva Vanitha Branch of SLLI took place on 16 Mrach 2025 presided by the President of Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Darshanee Yahampath.

The Annual General Meeting was held at the conference hall of RHQ SLLI with the participation of about 150 members. The new committee for the year 2025 was nominated and the members were informed about the welfare activities to be carried out this year.

Further, a guest lecture was delivered on the theme of "Maintaining and Managing the family life as a successful military wife" by the guest speaker Mr Manoj Samarasekara (Chief Inspector of Police, Officer In Charge of Headquarters Community Division)

During the ceremony a medical and financial donation was given to two civil staff members who works in the SLLI regiment itself. Former presidents of the Seva Vanitha branch also participated for the event.
