20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment Celebrates Its 16th Anniversary

The 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment (20 GR) celebrated its 16th anniversary on 01 January 2025 amidst military formalities under the guidance of Lt Col W W N C Waduge RWP RSP USP, the Commanding Officer of the 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment.

Upon arrival, the Commanding Officer was accorded a Guard Turnout, followed by a ceremonial parade. He later planted a sapling in the camp premises and posed for a group photograph followed by an All-Ranks lunch. Subsequently, he attended the pirith chanting programme and offered Heel Danaya to the monks at the programme's termination.

Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Battalion has participated in the event.
