The inaugural book detailing the most crucial and hard-fought battles in Sri Lanka, titled “Deperamunaka Satan” (දෙපෙරමුණක සටන්), authored by Maj Gen Dhammi Hewage (Rtd) RSP, was ceremoniously presented to Maj Gen Harindra Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment, on 29 May 2024 at Army Headquarters, Sri Jayawardenepura.
