Major K R Kalupahana RSP took over the duties as new Commanding Officer of the 22nd battalion of Gajaba Regiment at auspicious time 1048 hrs on 29 May 2014. He appointed as the third Commanding Officer of 22nd Battalion of Gajaba Regiment. A guard of honour also conducted to the new Commanding Officer at battalion premises on 29 May 2014.
