The long awaited gala motor sporting event, The Gajaba Supercross - 2014, organized by the prestigious Gajaba Regiment of Sri Lanka Army annually in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Autosports Drivers Association culminated at Saliyapura Gajaba Supercross tracks on 31st August 2014.\r\n\r\n Having claimed a stupendous standing in Army Sports Calendar, this stunning event is engineered to generate much needed funds for welfare improvement & the development of infrastructure facilities of the Gajaba Regiment. Major General S W L Daulagala RSP USP ndu pioneered this trailblazing extravaganza with his dedicated leadership, being the Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment. The Commander of the SL Army, Lt Gen R M D Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc graced the spectacular occasion as the chief guest.\r\n\r\n This thrilling racing event saw more than 100 drivers and riders steering their machines in the reverberating track which is home to the Gajaba Regiment. The distinguished invitees coupled with over five thousand spectators & military personnel witnessed the impressive occasion.\r\n\r\n The Champion Rider Trophy of Gajaba Supercross -2014 was clinched by SL Navy Rider, Gayan Sandaruwan while Janaka Dias grabbed the Champion Driver Trophy in the 13th Gajaba Supercross.
