A felicitation ceremony was held at the Regimental Headquarters to welcome the victorious Keterians who became the Champions in the Inter Regiment Combat Firing meet 2021. On their arrival to the Regimental main entrance they were warm heartedly welcome by Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel Rajeendra Wijeratne together with Staff Officers and members of the Regimental Headquarters in this evening. Later they were ushered to the main stage at Gajaba Regimental Gymnasium amidst performance of traditional dancers, where arrangements had been set for the felicitation event.
At the felicitation speech Deputy Centre Commandant extended best wishes and congratulations to the winning team on behalf of Chief of Defence Staff , Commander of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Gajaba Regiment General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, Centre Commandant and all Officers and Men of Gajaba Regiment. The day’s event was culminated with a cordial interaction with the team members and Regimental Staff at the special tea party arranged for them.
