VICTORIOUS KETERIAN SHOOTERS FELICITATED AT THE HOME OF GAJABA

The Regimental Headquarters warm heartedly welcomed the Keterian Shooters in a felicitation event who secured the Championship in the Inter Regiment Practical Rifle Shooting Competition 2024.

Inter Regiment Practical Rifle Shooting Competition 2024, organized by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA), together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, more popularly known as the ‘Home of Snipers’ drew to a close on (26) Monday afternoon where, Major General KPSA Fernando RWP RSP ndu the Director General Infantry and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock graced the occasion as the Chief Guests.

On arrival of the wining team at the Regimental main entrance they were wormley received by the Centre Commandant Brigadier Aruna Wijekoon USP ndc, together with Staff Officers and members of the Regimental Headquarters in this morning. Later, they were ushered to the 300 range at Gajaba Regimental amidst performance of traditional dancers, where arrangements had been set for the felicitation event.

At the felicitation speech Centre Commandant extended best wishes and congratulations to the winning team on behalf of Commander of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, Council members and all Officers and Men of the Gajaba Regiment.

The day’s event was culminated with a cordial interaction with the team members and Regimental Staff at the special tea party arranged for them.
