Vesak is a religious and cultural festival celebrated and Organized by the Gajaba Regiment this year too, as directed by the Colonel of the Regiment and the Adjutant General, Major General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc.
The Vesak lanterns display was ceremonially declared open by Centre Commandant, The Gajaba Regiment, Colonel Harendra Peiris RWP RSP USP in the presence of Deputy Centre Commandant, Officers, Other Ranks and devotees.
