TWO MORE KETERIANS WERE HONOURED AT THE HOME OF GAJABA ON THE EVE OF THEIR RETIREMENT

The Gajaba Regimental Centre hosted a colorful farewell parade to its proud members of Major General Sanjeewa Fernando RWP RSP ndu the Director General Infantry and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Agriculture and Livestock, Brigadier Naleen Madiwake (Rtd) RSP USP the former Secretary of the Chairmen – Ranaviru Seva Authority on Saturday (30) at Home of Gajaba.

The day’s ceremony was commenced with a customary Guard Turnout, Floral tribute to the founding father of the Gajaba Regiment, Major General Vijaya Wimalarathne followed by a colorful parade accorded in their respect. The ceremony was organized under the guidance of Commander of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment of Gajaba Regiment and Sri Lanka National Guard, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu.

Members of the Regimental Council, Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Commanding Officers, Staff officers of the Regimental Headquarters and a gathering of officers were present at this ceremony.
