A Kubuk Tree (Terminalia Arjuna) was planted in the lonely Goose Island in Paluwewa tank at Gajaba Regimental Centre, these lovely tiny Island was named as "Goose" Island with the migrants of goose and many endemic birds, with out hindering their freedom, the 'Kubuk' tree was planted to provide shelter and to enrich the Nature.
As per the guidance of the Centre Commandant Brigadier Mahinda Rajapaksha RWP RSP USP with the Motto of " LIVE WITH GREEN" planted a Kubuk tree at Goose Island on 17 May 2020.
