The President of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, recently paid a visit to the Mihindu Seth Madura in Attidiya on Wednesday (31 Jan).
The President engaged the resident War Heroes in friendly conversation while she was there, asking about their well-being and the status of their recuperation. She gave out gift packets in along with the conversation and donated ceiling fans to the Mihidu Seth Medura.
Towards the end of the programme, an inmate presented a special memento to the President of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch and prior to her departure the President penned down complimentary remarks in the visitor’s book and President posed for a group photograph with the resident War Heroes.
Brigadier Aruna Wijekoon USP ndc , Centre Commandant, members of Gajaba Regiment –SVB, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the event.
