The Passing Out Parade Of 19th Peace Keeping Battalion
The passing out parade of 19th Peace Keeping Battalion was held at RHQ GR parade square on 21st March 2014. Major General SWL Daulagala RSP USP ndu - DGGS, Col of the Regt GR grace the occasion as the chief guest. It was a remarkable event in Gajaba History since the first night parade ever held in Gajaba Regiment. Brass bands of try services glamour the occasion by a colourful band show. There were 54 x 708 from Sri Lanka Army, 02 x 42 from Sri Lanka Navy and 02 x 42 from Sri Lanka Air Force in the parade. They will participate as peace keepers in Haiti in next month. The parade was commanded by Colonel WHKS Peiris RSP, the Commanding Officer of 19th Peace Keeping Battalion.
