Passing Out of No 62 (R) and 13(V) Recruit Courses
The passing out parade of recruit training course no 62(R) and 13(V) was held at Gajaba Regimental Centre Saliyapura on 14th March 2015.The Parade was consist with 299 recruits who are belongs to 200 for Gajaba Regiment and 99 recruits for Sri Lanka Army Military Police. Col S M S P B Samarakoon RWP RSP,Comd 551Bde was grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.The Deputy Comdt of the regimental center Col W R M M Rathnayake RWP RSP,3 SLMP Commanding Officer Lt Col R M K A S Rajanayaka,Seniour officers,parents, and well - wishers were also present on the occasion.The parade and participants was addressed by chief guest Col S M S P B Samarakoon RWP RSP,expressed his confidence that all of them would carry out their Army duties conscientiously and with commitment in order to safeguard the motherland.On the behalf of the Colonel of the Regiment Col S M S P B Samarakoon RWP RSP expressed his gratitude to the parents for enabling their Sons to fulfill national requirements.
