NEWLY APPOINTED CENTRE COMMANDANT ASSUMES OFFICE

Colonel Shirantha Millagala RWP RSP USP psc assumed office as the 24th Centre Commandant of the most prestigious Gajaba Regimental Centre on Friday 24 December 2021.

Military formalities in this respect were held in accordance with the stipulated health guidelines issued by the health authorities and the AHQ. As the first segment of the event the new Centre Commandant reviewed the guard turnout and offered floral tribute to the statue of Late Major General Vijaya Wimalaratne.

The newly - appointed Centre Commandant signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new office amidst religious observances

Deputy Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Commanding officers and Staff officers of the Regimental Centre were present at the event.
