Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndcpsc Assumes Duties as Director General General Staff

Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndcpsc officially assumed duties as the Director General General Staff (DGGS) at Army Headquarters on 31 December 2024, during a formal ceremony held at the General Staff Branch.

Upon arrival, the newly appointed DGGS was warmly welcomed by the Senior Officers of the Branch. Amidst religious blessings, he symbolically signed an official document to signify the formal acceptance of his new office.

Following the assumption of duties, DGGS posed for a group photograph with the attendees. The event concluded with an address to the troops. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in the brief ceremony.
