INTER BATTALION BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT HELD AT THE HOME OF GAJABA

The Inter Battalion Basketball Tournament was held at the Gajaba Regimental Centre during past few days and its final encounter was held at the Home of Gajaba at 1845 hours on 26 July 2024 between 6 and 22 Battalions Gajaba Regiment. This thrilling competion was participation with 11 teams representing eleven Gajaba Battalions.

The selection matches were marked by intense competitiveness, showcasing the extraordinary skills and determination of the players. After a series of riveting games, the 6 Gajaba Regiment and the 22 Gajaba Regiment emerged as the finalists, demonstrating their superior strategy and teamwork.

In a thrilling final match, the 6 Battalion Gajaba Regiment won the championship beating 22 GR team, affirming their dominance on the court. The game was an evidence to their rigorous training and unyielding spirit, earning them well-deserved accolades.

The final event was graced by the Commandant as the Chief Guest. The presence of Deputy Commandant, Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre and officers from the 22 Gajaba Regiment further elevated the significance of the tournament, fostering camaraderie and esprit de corps among the participants and attendees.
