FELICITATION CEREMONY FOR THE NEWLY PROMOTED MAJOR GENERAL DMS DISSANAYAKE WWV RWP RSP USP ndu
Major General DMS Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu, warmly welcomed by the Home of Gajaba, where he was accorded with a Ceremonial Parade at the Regimental Headquarters Parade square at 0900 hrs on 28 June 2017 in respect of his promotion to the rank of Major General.
Major General DMS Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu was warmly welcome by the Deputy Centre Commandant Col LHM Rajapaksha RWP RSP USP. Initially he inspected the guard turn out and tribute to late Maj Gen WIVKM Wimalarathne’s Statue. Thereafter he was accorded with the Ceremonial Parade at the Parade Square.
The occasion was marked with a All Ranks Tea party at the ORs’ Mess. Brig DMWWWMRBM Daulagala RSP, Brig JMUD Jayasingha, Brig NDSP Niwunhella RWP RSP, Brig HLVM Liyanage RWP RSP, Brig SMSPB Samarakoon RWP RSP, Brig DG Hewage RSP, Col NC Somaweera RWP RSP USP, Col DVP Kariyawasam RSP, Col WRMM Rathnayake RWP RSP USP, Col KP Nugegoda RWP RSP, Col RADS Shantha Ranaweera RWP RSP USP psc and Deputy Centre Commandant Col LHM Rajapaksha RWP RSP USP and many other Senior Officers and Other rankers witnessed the function.
