Brave Ketterian becomes National Champion on Discus Throw at 101st National Athletics Championship - 2023

Ketterian Discus Thrower Captain Malith Saparamadu – 12 GR becomes National Champion on Discus Throw event of the 101st National Athletics Championship 2023 held on 28, 29 & 30 July, organized by the National Athletics Committee and held at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.

In the Men's National Discus Throw event, Captain Malith Saparamadu emerged champion while Pte Mithunraj S - SLEME threw a distance of 44.85 meters and Cpl Milantha Sampath W D M - SLEME threw a distance of 44.06 meters by securing second and third places respectively.

Captain Malith Saparamadu threw a distance of 47.89 meters breaking his last year record of 46.10 meters.
