The Gajaba Regiment Inter-Battalion Elle Tournament -2023 organized by Sport Section of the Gajaba Regiment was held at the Regimental Centre play ground on 21 & 22 March 2023 under the guidence of Commander of the Army and Colonel of the Regiment Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu and with the close supervision of Centre Commandant Brigadier Wishvajith Vidyananda RWP RSP USP.
The finals of the competition was held between 4 GR and 20 GR evoking a wave of enormous interest and cheering. Players of the 4 GR secured the Championship scoring 10 points playing first while 20 GR team secured the second place and 5(V) GR won the third place.
Captain Dilshan Wickramanayake 4 GR was awarded as the best player of the tournament.
The Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel Roshan Kalupahana RSP USP, Senior Officers, few Commanding Officers, all Staff Officers and gathering of Other Ranks of the Regimental Centre participated in the event.
