2016 YEAR DIVISIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP WAS WON THE 20TH GAJABA REGIMENT
With the concept of the GOC 53 Division Maj Gen LHSC De Silva WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc uplifting of mental stability, Co-operation with each other and as well as endurance of the officers and soldiers of the 53 division organized a soccer tournament & hold at Rajarata university ground at Mihintalaya on 19th july 2016.
For this event 12 team were participated and for the final 4 SLLI and 20 GR battalion were selected. From that 20 GR became the soccer champion of the 53 division. Maj Gen LHSC De Silva WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc graced the occasion as the chief guest.
