Major General J K R Jayakody RWP USP, the Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment assumed office as the Deputy Commander of Security Forces (West) on 22 April 2025. The senior officer auspiciously took over duties amidst religious observances and placed his signature in an official document to signify the acceptance of his new office.
