The Gajaba Regimental Centre hosted a vibrant and dignified Farewell Dinner Night on 17 January 2025 to honour its esteemed members Major General Rohan Rajapakshe (Retd) RSP, Brigadier Mahinda Rajapakshe (Retd) RWP RSP USP and Brigadier Rajith Waidyasekara (Retd) RSP.
As part of the rich traditions of the Regiment the Farewell Dinner Night was organized in a dignified manner to pay respect, express gratitude and appreciate their distinguished service rendered to the Gajaba Regiment, the Sri Lanka Army and the country as a whole.
During the Farewell Speech, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc extended his heartfelt appreciation for the invaluable service rendered by the outgoing Senior Officers to the Regiment. He also wished them health, happiness and success in their future endeavors along with their loved ones.
Members of the Regimental Council, executive members of the Gajaba Seva Vanitha Branch, the Centre Commandant, Senior Officers and Officers along with their spouses participated for the event to pay tribute to the legacy of the outgoing Senior Officers.
