Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, Commander Security Forces (Jaffna), and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment visited the 2(V) and 5(V) Gajaba Regiments on 26 October 2024.
During these visits the Colonel of the Regiment was honoured with a ceremonial Guard Turnout and a floral tribute to fallen war heroes, followed by tree planting, briefing by the Commanding Officers, and a troop address.
His address underscored values such as patriotism, discipline, and accountability, urging soldiers to maintain integrity and balance in their military and civilian lives.
The day concluded with a tour of the camp and after that enjoyed a meal alongside the officers which provided a chance for informal interactions
