Major General Harindra Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, Chief of Staff of the Army, and the Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment unveiled the Roll of Honour at the Home of Gajaba on 03 June 2024 commemorating the Ketterian recipients of the Parama Weera Vibhushanaya (PWV) gallantry award.
The PWV, which stands for "Supreme Heroism Decoration," is Sri Lanka's most prestigious military accolade. This distinguished honour is reserved for those members of the Gajaba Regiment who have demonstrated extraordinary valor at the face of enemy. It is an emblem of the highest level of bravery and an acknowledgment of the profound sacrifices made by individuals.
Recipients of the PWV are recognized for their acts of heroism that go far beyond the call of duty. This decoration not only honours their courageous deeds but also serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment and dedication to Gajaba Regiment and to Sri Lanka Army.

Parents and close relations of PWV recipients, Council members, Centre commadant, Senior Officers, officers and other ranks participated in the event.
