NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE 10TH BATTALION THE GAJABA REGIMENT ASSUMES OFFICE

Major NA Abeygunawardana RSP USP psc assumed office as the 18th Commanding Officer of the 10th Battalion The Gajaba Regiment on 30th January 2025 amidst religious rituals at the battalion headquarters Kandy.

The proceedings commenced with a guard of honour and followed by a ceremonial parade, planting of sapling was taken place to mark this special day at the camp premises.

The event concludes with all rank tea and addressing to the troops assembled within the ceremonial event.

Colonel of the Regiment, Regimental Council Members, Senior Officers, Centre Commandant and all Staff Officers of the Regimental Centre extend their best wishes for his new appointment and all the success in his future endeavours.
