Keterian leadership legacy continues in the Army with Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc assuming office as the 66th Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army. The newly appointed Chief of Staff signed an official document, signifying the acceptance of his new role amidst the religious observances at the Office of Chief of Staff in Army Headquarters on Monday, 10 February 2025 .
Principal Staff Officers, Directors, and Senior Officers of the Army Headquarters, along with Keterian Senior Officers and Officers, took part in the ceremony to wish the new Chief of Staff a successful tenure, contributing his vast military knowledge and academic excellence to the betterment of the Sri Lanka Army.
The senior officers’ visionary leadership and strategic thinking will certainly drive the Army into a force that is embedded with the necessary capacity-building to support national interests while enhancing military readiness to face future adversaries.
