Inaugural GAJABA INFANTRY SEMINAR was successfully held on 22 August 2025 at the Gajaba Regiment under the guidance of Major General U K D D P Udugama RWP RSP USP ndc psc, Commander Security Forces (West) and Colonel of the Regiment of the Gajaba Regiment and the Supervision of Centre Commandant.
The event brought together Officers from all units of the Gajaba Regiment. The day included 3 sessions and each session included 2 lectures. In the opening session, Keynote address delivered by the Colonel of the Regiment and the seminar was unfolded as follows;
Session one : Restructuring for results: aligning regiment strength with military priorities and operational productivity.
Session Two : Caring for our soldiers; building better careers and balancing work and family.
Session three : Uphold military discipline and foster innovation in support of national recovery.
Each session also featured a question-and-answer session designed to clarify the questions. The day concluded with a dignified closing gathering, upholding regimental values, unity and the spirit among the attending Officers.
