Gajaba Regiment Seva Wanitha Branch Joins Hands to Support Lance Corporal Piyathissa SPDMM - 10 GR

The Gajaba Regiment Seva Wanitha Branch, under the visionary leadership of its Chairperson, Mrs. Priyanga Wikramasinghe, has initiated a monthly financial contribution of Rs. 10,000 for period of six months to support Lance Corporal Piyathissa SPDMM, a dedicated member of the 10th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, in covering the medical expenses of his three children, who are courageously fighting Thalassemia.

As part of this noble initiative, Mrs. Harshi Abegunawardana, the spouse of the Commanding Officer of the 10th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, officially handed over the first installment of the funds to Lance Corporal Piyathissa SPDMM at the 10 GR Headquarters in Kandy.

This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment and unity of the Gajaba Regiment Seva Wanitha Branch in assisting Keterian families during challenging times to ensure the well-being of its members and their loved ones.
