3RD BATTALION GAJABA REGIMENT MARKS 40TH ANNIVERSARY
The 3rd Battalion Gajaba Regiment celebrated its 40th Anniversary at its headquarters in MANKULAM on 12 JAN 2026.
Maj HCJB Hindagolla RWP RSP psc, the Commanding Officer of the Battalion, was accorded a Guard Turnout and a Ceremonial Parade. He addressed the troops during the parade and sapped a plant.The celebrations concluded with an all-ranks lunch.
An overnight Pirith chanting ceremony was also held on the same day, invoking blessings for all officers and other ranks, as well as the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland (23 × 622) and wounded war heroes (18 × 387) of 3GR.
