03rd Battalion, the Gajaba Regiment, hosted the official visit of the Colonel of the Regiment with true Keterian passion

Major General MGWWWMCB Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc MA (IR), Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel of the Gajaba Regiment visited the 03rd Battalion, the Gajaba Regiment on 17th June 2025. This visit aimed to foster unity, strengthen leadership and reinforce the regimental values that define the Gajaba family.

The visit was marked by traditional military honours, beginning with a ceremonial Drive pass, followed by a detailed briefing by the Commanding Officer. The day featured a group photograph with officers and other ranks, a symbolic sapling planting ceremony and a troop address, all reflecting the strength of unity and the spirit of the Regiment. Colonel of the Regiment instilled the necessity of reinforcing the core values, leadership, teamwork, and regimental pride, ensuring that the Gajaba Regiment remains committed in its commitment to excellence.
