On 3rd of December,The President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB-SLNG), Mrs Kumarie Pallekumbura together with members of the Branch, conducted a compassionate visit to extend support to civil servant Sunil Premaratne who was severely affected by the recent landslide at Riddiyagama.
In a profound act of compassion and solidarity, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB-SLNG) Mrs Kumarie Pallekumbura, together with members of the Branch, undertook a special visit to the homes of SLNG soldiers severely affected by the recent adverse weather conditions.
The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 1st November 2025, at the Regimental Centre SLNG. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of SLNG-SVB.
In a heartfelt and inspiring gesture, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) organized a grand Scholarship Awarding Ceremony on 01 November 2025 at the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka National Guard, to recognize and celebrate the academic excellence of children of SLNG soldiers.
A special donation programme was successfully conducted on 20th October 2025 by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard, with the noble intention of extending support to S/Q100621 L/Cpl Kumara SMPR and his family, in appreciation of their six-month-old twin infants at Attanakadawala.
In celebration of World Children’s Day, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) organized a vibrant and heart-warming programme on 04 October 2025 at the Regimental Headquarters, Kurunegala.
A special donation programme was successfully conducted on 29 th September 2025 by the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard, with the aim of extending support to S/Q112516 Corporal Senaviratna UHGRAP and his family, upon the birth of their newly born twins at Rambukkana.
Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch, participated in a special ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a new house for S/Q107377 Private Ratnayake H S of the Sri Lanka National Guard, 02 September 2025 at the Galgamuwa.
Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch, together with the dedicated members of the Branch, paid a heartfelt visit to the parents of two brave War Heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our beloved motherland.
The monthly meeting of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) was held on 26 July 2025 at the Regimental Centre, SLNG, under the patronage of Mrs. Kumari Pallekumbura, President of the SLNG-SVB.
