Members of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) visited the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Mulleriyawa, on 26 April 2025, under the guidance of Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, Chairperson of the SLNG-SVB.
In a commendable move towards sustainable fundraising, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) has launched a Coconut Husk cutting project. This initiative, introduced under the guidance of Major General P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc, Commander of Security Forces (East) and Colonel of the Regiment of the SLNG, aims to generate funds through eco-friendly means.
The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG - SVB) distributed electric kettles to 250 civil personnel serving at the SLNG Regimental Centre and all SLNG battalions.
The monthly meeting of the Sri Lanka National Guard – Sava Vanitha Branch (SLNG – SVB) was held on 05 April 2025 at the Regimental Centre, SLNG, under the patronage of Mrs. Sumangali Pathiravithana, the president of SLNG – SVB.
The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB - SLNG) organized a Seva Vanitha Aurudu Pola at the Wehera public ground Kurunagala on the 5th and 6th of April 2025, in celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

The Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) hosted a farewell ceremony in honor of the former Chairperson, Mrs. Janaki Liyanage, at the officers’ mess of the RC SLNG on 08 February 2025.
The Seva Vanitha branch of Sri Lanka National Guard marked another significant milestone in its housing project on 09 February 2025 with a completion of a fully fledged house for private Kumarasinghe of 4 SLNG. The financial assistants and labour support to the project was provided by the 4 SLNG and furniture with other household items was donated by Seva Vanitha Branch SLNG.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch (SLNG-SVB) was held on 08 Feb 2025 at the Regimental Centre, SLNG.
