Sewa Wanitha

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG) organized a welfare initiative to distribute dry ration packs and vouchers to civilian staff serving at the Regimental Centre, in appreciation of their dedicated service.

A newly constructed house was ceremonially handed over to S/107377 Private Ratnayake H.S. of the 15th Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard (15 SLNG) on 4 March 2026, in recognition of the severe financial hardships faced by the soldier due to the substantial medical expenses incurred for the continuous treatment of his 20-year-old son who is living with multiple disabilities.

The Monthly Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB -SLNG) for the First Quarter of 2026 was successfully conducted on 15 February 2026 at the Conference Hall of the Regimental Centre under the patronage of the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura. Members of the Executive Committee together with other members of the Branch participated in the meeting.

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka National Guard (SVB-SLNG) conducted a Medical Clinic and Eye Care Programme on 01 February 2026 at the Auditorium of the Regimental Centre, with the aim of promoting preventive healthcare among service personnel, retired war heroes, civilian employees, and their families.
