Sewa Wanitha

A sleeping mattresses production project launched by the Regimental Headquarter Battalion, SLNG was commissioned on 8 April 2017 under the guidance of Colonel of the Regiment, Maj Gen A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc, the project was ceremonially launched by Hon. President of SVU- SLNG Mrs. Ruvini Sujeeva Wickramaratne at the presence of the Colonel of the Regiment.

The newly constructed house for S/Q108186 Lance Corporal Chathurange NDT of 13 SLNG, residing in Thissamaharama who became disabled in battle was ceremonially handed over to the war hero’s family by Major General A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc, Colonel Of the Regiment SLNG and Mis Ruvini Sujeewa Wickramaratne, Hon. Chairperson of Seva Vanitha Unit on 14 May 2017. The financial allocation for the construction were collected as indicated below and 3 SLNG provided their noteworthy contribution manpower assistance for the construction.

Seva Vanitha New year trade fair organized by the Seva Vanitha Unit SLNG under the guidance of Colonel of the Regiment, Maj Gen A P De Z Wickramaratne RWP ndu psc and the president of SVU – SLNG, Mrs Sujeewa Wickramaratne are held on 7th and 8th April 2017 from 0830am to 1000pm at Wehera Public Ground, Kurunegala.
