President of Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch Lays Foundation Stone for New House

Mrs. Kumarie Pallekumbura, President of the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch, participated in a special ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a new house for S/Q107377 Private Ratnayake H S of the Sri Lanka National Guard, 02 September 2025 at the Galgamuwa.

This housing project is generously funded by the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, under the guidance of its President, Mrs. Suwendrini Dissanayake, as part of the Army’s ongoing welfare initiatives to uplift the lives of War Heroes and their families. The project is expected to provide Pte Ratnayake and his loved ones with a permanent and comfortable home, in recognition of his dedicated service to the nation.

Mrs. Pallekumbura expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit for extending financial support towards this noble cause. She also reaffirmed the Sri Lanka National Guard Seva Vanitha Branch’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of soldiers and their families.

Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch, officers, and well-wishers were present at the event, marking this significant milestone in enhancing the living standards of War Hero families.
