    The lives of Military personnel are no doubt full of unique challenges, with a view of imparting knowledge on decorating the lives with fresh perspective, a lecture was organized under the guideline of the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG. The lecture took place on 06 November 2024 at the Multi-Functional Hall of the Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.

    The stability and the consistency of the society are nurtured by the civil law of the country, and the structural frame work of a soldier in the context, was educated by way of an awareness programme under the directions of Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force (SLAVF) on 21 August 2024 at the Multifunctional Hall.

  • DEFEATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING THROUGH AWARENESS

    The Sri Lanka Army has a moral obligation to raise awareness and educate soldiers on human trafficking since Sri Lankans, mostly former soldiers, have fallen victim to a human trafficking scam that involves sending Sri Lankans to Russia, where they are then dispatched to the frontlines in the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war. By identifying the importance of topic Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force conducted an awareness lecture to soldiers on the topic under the guidance Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant SLAVF.

  • WARRANT OFFICER 1 LVSS WIJESUNDARA HONOURED BY THE VOLUNTEER FORCE

    The Volunteer Force of the Sri Lanka Army paid its honour and tribute for Warrant Officer 1 LVSS Wijesundara of the 11 (Volunteer) the Gajaba Regiment at the Headquarters of the Volunteer Force on 25 July 2024 upon his retirement. He was felicitated by awarding a farewell parade accorded by the troops of the Headquarters of the Volunteer Force under the directions of Major General W P A D W Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu, the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
