  • THE OFFICERS TRAINING DAY OF SECOND QUARTER -2024 SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED AT RHQ SLAMC

    According to the directions given by the Directorate of Training to conduct an Officers' Training Day', Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps conducted its session for 2nd Quarter on 26 June 2024 at Regimental Headquarters Werahera, under the supervision and guidance of the Colonel Commandant and Director General Army Health Services Maj Gen PAC Fernando and Centre Commandant Brig WAUS Wanasekara RWP USP with the participation of over 120 Officers.

  • 10th Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Contingent Departs for South Sudan

    The 10th contingent of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) departed Sri Lanka early this morning (06 February), to assume duties at the Level-2 SRIMED Hospital in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

  • 9th SRIMED Contingent in South Sudan Returns after Completion of Service

    The 9th SRIMED contingent in South Sudan, comprising 9 Officers and 43 Other Ranks, returned to Sri Lanka on 05 February after completing their tour of duty at the South Sudan Level 2 hospital under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).

  • SLAMC CONSTRUCTS HOUSE FOR DESERVING SOLDIER

    In a heartfelt continuation of its welfare initiatives, the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) recently completed the construction of a new house for a deserving soldier under the 8th phase of the Army Commander’s Ranawiru Housing Fund. The house, located in Payagala, Kaluthara, was handed over to Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Warrant Officer 1 UIK Jayasinghe USP (Rtd) on January 19, 2024. This noble endeavor aimed to provide a proper dwelling for a dedicated serviceman and his family, symbolizing the Army's unwavering commitment to the well-being of its personnel.
