The 34th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) was celebrated at the Regimental Headquarters, Werahera on 15th January 2024 amidst military formalities
The event was graced by Major General P A C Fernando USP, the Director General Army Health Services and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps as the Chief Guest.
Religious ceremonies of all religions were held at the RHQ premises to bless for success and prosperity of the Regiment. The Chief Guest was afterwards invited to leave memories by planting a Kaluwara sapling inside the camp premises to symbolize the day’s significant event which was followed by opening of newly constructed Welfare Complex, Side Wicket, All Ranks Tea, All Ranks Lunch and evening Musical Event.
Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the SLAMC participated in the anniversary arrangements.
