On 27 November 2024, Major General MS Devapriya USP ndc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, officially handed over a newly constructed house to a deserving family in Trincomalee. The house was built by the 4 Armoured Regiment with generous donations from Mr. Prabath Perera, who resides in Switzerland and attended the event with his family.
The ceremonial handover was conducted amidst religious observances, after which Mrs. Dulashi Meepagala, President of the Armour Ladies’ Club, presented the family with essential household items. These items were kindly donated by the Armour Ladies Club Team of the 4 Armoured Regiment.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including senior military officers.
