On September 24, 2024, the 4 Armoured Regiment commemorated its 33rd anniversary with a series of events that highlighted its rich history, values, and the respect for the sacrifices made by its members.
The anniversary celebrations began on September 18 with a solemn Bodhi Pooja, followed by an Almsgiving ceremony on September 19. A Multi-Religious Ceremony was conducted on September 20, and on September 23, a War Hero Commemoration took place to honour the fallen heroes.
On the anniversary day, a ceremonial parade was held in honour of the Commanding Officer, attended by officers and other ranks of the Regiment. During the parade, awards were presented to Squadrons and individuals who excelled in Training, Administration, and Sports within the year.
To signify the day, the Commanding Officer planted a sapling, and laid the cornerstone for new officers' accommodation. The celebration was concluded with an all ranks lunch and officers' gathering at the Officers Mess in the evening.
