COLONEL COMMANDANT VISITS THE 6TH (RFT) REGIMENT

On 8 September 2024, Major General MS Devapriya USP ndc, the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and General Officer Commanding of the 64 Infantry Division, made an official visit to the 6th (RFT) Regiment.

The visit commenced with a guard turnout to honour the arrival of the Colonel Commandant. During the visit, he participated in a group photograph, planted a sapling, and addressed all ranks. In his address, he emphasised the importance of commitment, discipline, and adherence to traditions, ethics, values, and culture of the corps by elevating the standards of the corps. Following the address, the Colonel Commandant joined the officers for lunch at the Officers' Mess.

Brigadier A P C R Premathilaka RSP USP ndc, Centre Commandant SLAC, and Brigadier A A D P Kulathilaka USP ndc psc, Commander Armoured Brigade, were also present to honour the visit.

The event concluded with the Colonel Commandant signing the visitors' book at the Officers' Mess.
