CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW HOUSE FOR A NEEDY FAMILY INITIATED BY 4 ARMOURED REGIMENT

The foundation laying ceremony to construct a new house for a needy family living in Morawewa, Trincomalee was held in the morning hours on 01 August 2024 amidst religious rituals.

This meritorious project will be undertaken by the 4 Armoured Regiment as a part of the community service activities of the Army under the supervision of the GOC 22 Infantry Division, Maj Gen Anil Peiris RSP USP psc. Mr and Mrs Prabath Perera, philanthropists living in Switzerland will sponsor the project.

The Commanding Officer of 4 Armoured Regiment, few dignitaries of the area, Offrs and Other Ranks of 4 Armoured Regiment attended the ceremony.
