The 6th Regiment (Rft) SLAC celebrated its 17th anniversary with a series of events at the camp premises. The day began with a guard turnout demonstrating military tradition and discipline. The Commanding Officer planted a sapling, symbolizing growth and sustainability, and an all-rank group photo highlighted regiment unity.
A commemorative event honoured war heroes for their bravery, and the celebrations concluded with an all-ranks lunch fostering unity. Alms giving and religious rituals took place before the anniversary, reflecting the regiment’s proud legacy and enduring values.
