ANNUAL BOOK DONATION PROGRAM - 2024 HELD AT 3 ARMOURED REGIMENT

The 3 Armoured Regiment, in align with the Armour Ladies Club event calendar, conducted its annual school book donation program at the Kalattawa camp premises. This initiative was organized under the guidance and patronage of Mrs. Samangka Fernando, the President of the Armour Ladies Club.

This year, the 3 Armoured Regiment provides school books and stationery to 397 students affiliated with families of officers, Other Ranks, including attached personnel from other units and civilian staff of the Regiment. Moreover, the regiment is generously donates 241 school bags for students ranging from grades 1 to 6.

The event took place on 21 January 2024 with the participation of some school children and the families of 3 SLAC members.
