Armoured Brigade celebrated its 35th anniversary on 01 June 2023 at Rock House camp. Brigadier W P Kariyawasam, the Commander Armoured Brigade graced the anniversary day events as the Chief Guest.
A colorful Parade followed by a Guard Turnout was accorded to the Chief Guest and the troops were addressed at the parade after remembering the fallen war heroes. Thereafter, the newly received indigenous Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle was officially handed over to 1st Recce Regiment by the Commander Armoured Brigade.
